Our Niece the Cutie Pie!!

This is our niece Elizabeth, she is so cute. She is such a happy baby. We wish we could see her more, but unfortunately she lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Her mom has created a blog like we did so we can see her almost everyday. We love it. While we didn't take this picture ourselves we just had to show her off.

Sunday Drive

Some times its nice to get away. We have had a pretty stressful couple a weeks in our house, so we decided to head for the mountains on Sunday afternoon to enjoy a little bit of nature. These pictures are of the Snake River just past Palisades. I just couldn't resist putting my feet in the cool and refreshing water. It was a nice, relaxing day.

A Special View

We went on a drive the other night and ended up by the windmills above Idaho Falls. Eric took this picture and I love it. We can see the windmills from our house but when you get up really close they are big and majestic. Hope you like the view.

Monkeys In Our Bed

We love to have company, especially the small kind. When Emily's kids come to visit us they love to snuggle in our bed and watch cartoons. I think its so cute.

Beating the Heat

Here are Emily's boys Carson and Chase, showing their muscles off along with their new swimming pool. Since it has been such a hot summer, with no air conditioning at our house I often head up to Emily's and spend time in the shade watching the kids enjoy the cool water. Last time I went I didn't just observe, I was attacked by water ballons and actually went home cool and wet.

Summer Time!!

This is Summer my friend Emily's little girl. While she is not related to us we feel like we are her aunt and uncle. She has really grown to love Eric and calls him her best friend. While we were helping her family move she rode with me and had to wear Eric's sunglasses because they are so cool. What a cutie!!

And They're Off!!!

Here is some pictures from the endurance race Eric and his friends rode in this spring. This was the first time I saw Eric really ride I was pretty nervous but after I saw him go over his first jump, I was nothing but proud. At one point he flew through the air over this big jump and I was in total awe. It was a fun day, but after the race Eric could hardly move. Hopefully he will do it again.

Eric the Great Designer

Here is a house in Driggs that Eric designed the trusses for. He is really getting good at his job and enjoying it. We thought it would be a good idea to put his talent use and start our on home business. We named it Big E Home Design, Eric is still training on the program but once he is finished he will be able to design full house plans.

Our Second Anniversary!!

For our second anniversary we headed back to Jackson Hole. We had such a great time last year we thought we would go back. This year there was hardly any snow but we were still able to grab some nice pics of the tetons as well as a wandering moose. We only spent one night, but we still had time to have a great dinner and enjoy this beautiful scenery. I hope they will still call us Newlyweds.

We Have A Niece!!!!

We have a niece, we are so excited. Her name is Elizabeth and she is so cute and precious. She was born on January 31st, while it took her a while to get here, she was actually a couple weeks early. We alreday miss her becuase she lives in Phoenix so it will be awhile before we get to hold and cuddle with her. We are so excited to watch her grow. Hopefully we will get to meet her soon.

Christmas Time at Temple Square

While living in Utah we decided to visit our favorite place in Salt Lake City. Temple Square is a special place for us since we got engaged and married there. Plus it is a magically place at Christmas time. We love the lights and the spirit that is there.

Enjoying Autumn in Utah

Well we did it we moved to Utah! While we are settling into our new home, these beautiful sights are sure helping us appreciate our new state. These pictures were taken near Squaw Peak and at Bridal Veil Falls by Provo two of our new favorite places.

Next Stop Zion's National Park

Zion's National Park is beautiful!! While this was my first trip to Zion's, Eric had been before. We only had the morning to explore the park so we went on a small hike then had to spend most of the other time on a tour bus, but we still had a great time. It was actually nice and cool. We enjoyed taking lots of pictures and posing for a few as well. Thanks mom and dad for a nice vacation.

Four Wheeling in Brian Head

For our summer vacation in 2006 we went to Southern Utah with my parents. The first stop was Brian Head where we rented four wheelers and went on a fast pace ride. I was the slowest rider almost getting rear ended by my mother, she is a little wild sometimes. Once we reached the top of the trail this amazing view was waiting for us. This was a vacation we won't soon forget.

Off to Spokane for Mary Ann's Graduation

Here we are at Eric's aunts in Spokane. We made our first trip to Spokane for Mary Ann's graduation. Our first stop was to visit Emily and her family in Cheney, then they took us to Eric's aunts. We spent the night there and then headed to Lewiston to watch Mary Ann graduate from nursing school. We had a great time visiting with family and watching the graduation, despite the humid weather. This is also the first time we ever flew on a plane together.

Sharing the Magic Valley with my Husband

Shoshone Falls, my favorite part of the Magic Valley. This is the most water I have ever seen coming over the falls. Eric and I of course had to get lots of pictures. It was awesome, next time we go we want to hike up to the highest overlook.

Our First Anniversary

March 11, 2006 our first anniversary!!! We spent the weekend in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We had a great time enjoying the snow and the Tetons. We spent both nights in a cute little hotel that was decorated like a cabin, our room even had a fireplace in it, it was really nice. We spent out time enjoying the mountains and window shopping. It was a very relaxing weekend neither of us wanted to come back home.

Our First Christmas

Here we are on our first Christmas, we both spoiled each other and loved it. We spent the day with my family. Soon after opening presents we went to visit Ann and then we went to my Grandma's. Once there Eric got to meet all my crazy relatives, talk about being overwhelmed. But over all we had a great first Christmas.

Our First Trip To Yellowstone

Here are some of our favorite pictures from our trip to Yellowstone. We went in September of 2005, while some of the park was closed we thought that the deary days made for better pictures. This was the first time I had been to Yellowstone and I loved it. At first I was very excited to see the animals but after a couple of hours I became numb, even though I was still on the look for a bear.

Hanging Out with My Roommates

Here we are with my roommates from my last year at BYU. We all met up the weekend of Eric's sisters wedding. While Eric isn't to fond of country music we enjoyed being outdoors and I really loved catching up with my old roommates.

Sarah Marries a Jeremy Too!!!

Just a couple months after we got married Eric sister Sarah also got married. The funny part is she married a guy named Jeremy, so that makes two Jeremy's marrying into one family. We really enjoyed attending their wedding as a new husband and wife it was a great time to remember the promises we made at our wedding. Plus it was the first time we ever danced together.

Our Little Friends

These are our adopted niece and nephew, they are my friend Emily's kids. We love to play with them. As you can see they are starting to warm up to their new Uncle Eric. This is a barbecue we had two summers ago. We had so much fun, plus it was the first time Eric played red rover.

Eric's Other Love

While I know I am the love of Eric's life I do have some competition. Just a couple of months after we got married Eric talked me into buying this beautiful Suzuki RMZ 450. While it has taken him away from me from time to time, the smile on his face when he rides is worth it.
